Types of PTE Test Exam

There are two types of PTE tests:

  • PTE Academic — People planning to pursue their studies or want to work in a developed nation like Australia, Canada, etc., will take this PTE Academic test.
  • PTE General — The PTE General test is for those planning to apply for Permanent Residence (PR) in Australia. Also, this test will help to know the level of English proficiency.

PTE Exam Format

The aspirants can appear many times as they want, as there is no such exam limit. However, there is a gap of at least 5 days for each attempt.

What is the Validity of the PTE Test Scores?

The validity of PTE test scores is 2 years. After 2 years, aspirants are required to take other PTE tests, whether general or academic.
